Your first step is to write an essay. Topic: Whose World, Whose Responsibility
IEssay Deadline: September 28th.
Send it to ctamulonis@stu.edu.cn, deliver it to EAC from Monday to Thursday from 7:30pm-10:30 pm, or deliver it to the “Speech Contest Essays” box in CILL.Essay Workshop: 5:00pm.-6:00pm, September 21st in CILL. All are welcome!
The ninth annual English Festival Intercollegiate English Speech Contest will take place on Saturday, December 10 at 7:30 pm.
On Saturday night, three Shantou University speakers will take the stage alongside our guest speakers from Xiamen University, Hanshan Normal University, Jiaying University, the University of Nottingham Ningbo and Seoul National University. These contestants are not only fiercely dedicated to the competition, but have skillfully woven their personal passions and values into their speeches that grapple with this year's theme: Whose World, Whose Responsibility. Participants will present a 3 minute speech that expresses their opinions or experiences related to this topic.
All STU students are welcome, including senior students and students from Medical College. Please come and join us.
